TD-5 Remnants Unable to Reorganize...Moving Back Inland Again

The remnants of Tropical Depression 5 emerged back out into the Gulf yesterday as expected, however they were unable to reorganize into a tropical system.  With the area of low pressure already beginning to move inland again over Lousiana this morning, it is unlikely that any further tropical development will occur.

Areas of heavy rain and gusty winds are likely across much of Louisiana and adjacent portions of extreme southeast Texas as this system moves inland.
