Severe Storms Likely in the Northeast This Afternoon & Evening...


The above image shows the latest severe weather outlook for this afternoon and evening from the SPC in Norman, OK. Severe storms are possible within the yellow shaded area on the above image.

Large hail and damaging winds are particularly likely within the red shaded areas on the image below, which includes the Baltimore/Washington, Philadelphia and New York City areas:


An isolated tornado or two also cannot be ruled out, particularly within the red shaded area on the above image.
