More Tornado Watches Missouri and Ohio Valley Area...

Another Tornado Watch was recently issued for portions of Ohio and Pennsylvania (see image above), valid until 11pm EST. A watch was also just issued for portions of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and extreme southwest Indiana, valid until until 10pm CST (see below):

The above watches are in addition to the Tornado Watch that was issued earlier this afternoon from  east-central Illinois through Indiana and western Ohio.

Severe thunderstorms are breaking out across the northern portions of the current Tornado Watch areas, as shown on the latest radar mosaic image below:

Thus far there has been 1 report of a tornado in east-central Illinois earlier this afternoon, but conditions remain ripe for additional development, so folks in these areas should remain alert and be prepared to seek shelter if a warning is issued for their area.  Current Tornado Warnings are shown in red on the image below, with Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in yellow:

An isolated strong tornado or two could also develop in association with the activity this afternoon and/or evening...so please don't take this situation lightly within the Tornado Watch areas...
