Severe Weather Continues in Deep South...

Strong to severe thunderstorms continue to advance Eastward across the Deep South at midday. The warnings superimposed over the radar image above are mostly Tornado Warnings (shown in red), with a lone Severe Thunderstorm Warning (shown in yellow).

A Tornado Watch is in effect East of the line of storms, including the Atlanta area, until 6pm CST / 7pm EST:

Folks ahead of this line of storms should remain alert this afternoon and be prepared to seek shelter immediately if threatening weather is observed or a warning issued.  Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are all possible with this activity.
