Alberto Beginning Northeast Turn; Weakening...

Above is a recent visible satellite image of Tropical Storm Alberto. The system continues to drift toward the East and appears to be making the expected Northeast turn very gradually.

I've placed an "X" in yellow near the center of the storm.  Note the stronger and more widespread shower and thunderstorm activity (within the yellow circled area) is becoming quite far displaced away from the center of the storm.  If this trend continues, Alberto is likely to weaken and/or diminish rather quickly.
